Ram Kumar Rai

Ram Kumar Rai, from Solukhumbu in eastern Nepal, is a trusted Sirdar with over 35 years of experience in the trekking industry. Starting as a porter and rising through roles as a kitchen assistant, cook, and now Sirdar, he has earned deep respect for his dedication and leadership. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali, Ram Kumar is also a certified nature guide who has led tours in wildlife reserves and national parks across Nepal. Known for his calm nature and strong sense of responsibility, he ensures every journey is safe, smooth, and full of memorable moments. Outside trekking, he enjoys farming, family time, and sharing stories from his years in the mountains.
