Chandra Bahadur Rai

Chandra Bahadur Rai, from Dhankuta in eastern Nepal, grew up with eight siblings and learned the value of hard work early in life. After finishing school, he moved to Kathmandu and began his journey in tourism as a porter. His first trek to Everest Base Camp in 1996 sparked a lifelong love for the mountains. With over 25 years of trekking and mountain biking experience, Chandra is a licensed guide with advanced training in first aid, navigation, and high-altitude safety.
